I am an Iranian-American writer and filmmaker from San Francisco, now living in New York. My films have played at the London Short Film Festival, the Seattle International Film Festival, and IFF Boston, and at venues such as the Institute of Contemporary Arts in London and Spectacle Theater in Brooklyn. 

 

I was awarded a scholarship to the 2024 Bread Loaf Writer's Conference, and have published short fiction in places such as Gulf Coast, La Piccioletta Barca, and Bricolage.

I have also worked in the art department for films such as Past Lives, Eileen, and Highest 2 Lowest.
